Grumble grumble grumble. I just had my second S107 crap out in me in under a month. What's very strange to me is that they've both crapped in exactly the same manner. They've lost their ability to spin the tail motor fast enough to pitch the heli forward and generate forward flight. Sometimes the tail rotor spins but obviously not fast enough, but most of the time it won't spin at all. This most recent machine was an R3, and the first one was an R5. Here's the thread from my first one that died: 3chrchelicopters.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=112&page=1#802Could I be doing something wrong? I've never heard of anyone else having this problem and I've got it TWICE!?

Have you checked to make sure the tail shaft isn't dirty? One of mine got a hair wrapped around the shaft which affected it. Also have you tried to change the blade on the tail rotor maybe the shaft is spinning but not making good contact with the blade, they just press on.

Yeah, I wish it was something that simple. Tail motor itself spins freely, I think it's just not receiving the right voltage. I've completely stripped it down and rebuilt it, the only component I can't test is the pcb....

Yeah Ive gone through S107s too they're just not good helicopters Id recommend the Racing Alloy Copter instead, it has the power and strength you need. Ive crashed mine a million times
