Grumble grumble grumble.
I just had my second S107 crap out in me in under a month. What's very strange to me is that they've both crapped in exactly the same manner. They've lost their ability to spin the tail motor fast enough to pitch the heli forward and generate forward flight. Sometimes the tail rotor spins but obviously not fast enough, but most of the time it won't spin at all.
This most recent machine was an R3, and the first one was an R5.

Id recommend the Racing Alloy Copter instead, it has the power and strength you need. Ive crashed mine a million times
