Maypo rocks, ditto Malto-meal, and Cap'n Crunch.
Puffed wheat/rice is animal food.
Oatmeal is a cookie ingredient, not breakfast.

I'm having coffee #6... or so, they keep going cold on me.My doggy got himself caught in a gate last week, and after surgery to fix his poor little toe ($700), he's been a PITA despite some pretty good-looking doggie tranks. At one point, I was about ready to wolf one myself.
But I think we're over the worst of it. We got all the dressings off, and he's finally decided to leave it alone. I found the BEST Doggie-doctor in the whole world at the Banfield Pet clinic/ Roseville, CA, in Dr. Pettit. She looks right past Doggibal Lechter's attitude, and just treats him as needed. Not that he's so dangerous...a few years back, I got him a NICE chainlink kennel built. He promptly broke all four of his canine teeth yanking on it, and subsequently had them (all four) surgically removed. He remains a figurehead of terror in the neighborhood, but has no real power. The only person I ever saw him actively go after was my (RIP) father-in-law. Good dog.

Poor doggy, lucky he's got a dad that loves him enough to pay for the right treatments.
Today it's oatmeal here, got fancy and mixed two packets of apple&cinnamon with one packet of maple&brown sugar. Just polishing off Americano #2 before I head off to school for the day...

One of Wifey's LUNA bars: Fake chocolate, sticks, hay, tasty pebbles.
Reminds me of when I thought Carnation Instant Breakfast might be good.

Eggs, grits and bacon (cured and smoked by a cop friend of mine. Insert joke here). Without some form of pork product (bacon, sausage, pork roll, scrapple work best), it ain't breakfast.

I had a short case of panic! The youngest daughter left to get donuts, 1st day driving alone on the new drivers license. Caller id shows she's calling so I pick up the phone and she does not respond, all I hear is metal banging . Frantically call back, no answer, call again and she answers, all is fine but they don't have the donuts I wanted ( Boston Cream) oh well, at least she is fine.

nurburgringer.Your not from around these parts are ya?Or ya married to a southern gal?
I was married to a woman from Chattanooga at one time.I ate real good.Sunday morning was a real feast, bacon, sausage, sweet oats or rice, pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy has always been a favorite with sausage in the gravy of course. Try to find a good example of that kind of breakfast around here, especially the biscuits and gravy.
