I know this thread is dead for a month now. But I did find a Costco Interceptor today in a nearly local to me store. Unfortunately for the American readers, I believe you are out of luck. Up here in BC, we have a clearance centre (center) for Costco called MTF Price Matters. Today there were a couple of the Interceptors in the Penticton store priced at $30.00 Also available, 4 S022 @ $90.00, 6 or 8 DH Eagle 9077 @ $70, and one W909-1 @ $70.00 Web page to find a store close to you www.pricematters.ca

So I have one of these interceptors, blade hit the dishwasher the other day, and now the lower rotor spins really weakly, it wont even take off as-is. I am not sure if its the lower rotor mount thats cracked, or the two gears that are not locking properly. If anyone has an idea, I could really use a hand! I love this little thing.
if it is the lower rotor mount, now do I get the upper mount off so i can remove the lower mount and replace it?
on a side note, you said you removed the flybar weights, did you totally remove the weight, or did you replace it with something smaller? if you removed it, i'm surprised that it doesn't have a big problem once its removed!
(yes, as i'm sure you can tell, i'm a newbie to R/C helicopters, but that just means I don't know all the technical bits)

UPDATE- ok so I disassembled the whole thing and found my problem... although the lower rotor mount is cracked, and wont hold for long... the real problem is, the gear that controls the lower blade is cracked right down the center... i don't know if i'll be able to find a replacement gear for it though. The site www.interactivetoy.com/parts/index.php?cPath=0_1_40 has the rotor piece (the hub ring) but not the gear, and its notched to lock it in place.

Hey Kindar...good luck with the website...we got one for Christmas...after breaking the TINY LITTLE PLASTIC NIBS that loosely "support" the bottom rotors clean off...we have YET to hear from the company after repeated emails and msg on the website. In fact, when we were looking on the website, daily i might add, the piece we needed was "OUT OF STOCK" I found my own solution, I have a similar heli, made by LITEHAWK, SOME of the parts are interchangable. For ex. the inner and main shaft diam. are the same, the rotor mounts are BIGGER and RIDGID on the XL...i replaced the INTERCEPTOR ones with the XL ones NO PROB...im not sure the gears are the same tho...in fact im quite sure they arent. litehawk.yuku.com/topic/30/Litehawk-XL-Spare-Parts-On-LineHave a look, this is a company that WILL answer emails and phone calls, they have customer service/support. P.S. Let me know if you EVER get a response/answer from Interactive Toys. I sure didnt!!! Tye

Hello- I am new to this Forum. I have several Blade runner interceptor r/c copters and more than half have damaged gears that run the lower blades. Dose any one know where I could buy the gear parts?

Hi friends Anyone know where you can get replacement batteries for this model? I bought mine from The Source, and they carry most parts except the batteries, and the manufacturer's site carries everything but batteries. I'd just like to know for when my battery eventually wears out. I guess they don't have them listed since it's not an easy to replace part. Regards Nitrotek
