There is a very good chance that I have the World's largest private collection of 3-channel helicopters. I'd run out of shelf space for all of my Killbucket Kopters, so an idea came out of the China cabinet, of all places. Teacup Hooks, and plenty of them. They are ideal for storing your 3 channel helicopter fleet. Even tandem, dual-rotor Syma S026's can hang here, as I've cleverly spaced the hooks to accommodate them as well. You can never have too many 3-channel helicopters! The Syma S107's are one of my favorite models of 3 channel helicopter. Although I do own more, of the San Huan 6020-1 gyro models, because they're so darn cute, and reliable. The next time somebody claims 3-channel can't be "Hobby Grade", let them know about me. I have nearly 70 3-chees! This is a "9808" and I never have determined who makes them. Not that it matters...the 9808 is to be avoided, as they just wake up dead one day for no good reason. I've had 3 mysteriously refose to come back "on". more coming...

What's up, tigerfish? This is my own camo motif. The Propel toys Micropter is HUGE FUN. Ignore it 2-channel config and GET ONE!!! They are freakishly... FAST!!! If you have an old Kawasaki dirtbike, this picture stopped you in your tracks. Yes, it's real Kawasaki touch-up paint. Ditto John Deere colors on this contraption. I also have a sub-fleet painted in khaki, because I LIKE khaki. And yes, we have a soldier in a pink uniform, as well. I have another small fleet of non-gyro "8818" helicopters. These are waiting for gyro upgrade boards. Although most of my helicopter carry arbitrary numbers, I haven't skipped using any numbers. My next one gets "67" plastered onto it.Here you can see some of my identical copters. Why? Could YOUR wife determine if a new one just showed up this way? Wink. The Krylon Watermelon paint really screams next to the Helizonerc Firebird's blue here.

OK girls: Line up!!! Row, upon row, of 3-channel helicopters. This was last Spring, and my collection has almost doubled in size from this grouping. 30 helicopters, well over an hour and a half's flying time available, non-stop if I wish. I do like the colorful models, but the khakis are my favorites...like little drones. I had them lined up under the TV, but the dust built up on them like crazy under the screen. View from the other end of the line. The Syma S107 is a steal, and you will not need replacement parts. I have nine, and have broken nothing on them. Copter #1, my Helizone RC Firebird in blue. I like the "Yo inna heap o' trouble boy" look the windscreens have. they remind me of old Foster-Grant aviator sunglasses. The two tiny copters are Propel toys Micropters. You can get them for under $15 in grocery stores now.

For transport, a DVD player case: My copter travel in style when they go visiting (Evangelizing, really). Net-bag holds the controller, room for two S107 helicopters, and a pack of Tx batteries. Blackwater Billy will NOT tell me where's he's hidden the key, tho. The hard-shelled, padded inside case is VERY rugged. Don't have to worry about YOU while ya sleep. Velcro'd strap can hold more than one copter. Nice and snug as a bug in a rug.

Heck of collection you've got there sir.
I've got a vision in head of down the road when I can get my model train set up and include a hangar for all my helis in the layout. If only I had more room and time...

YES! these would be a killer addition to a train layout. When you bore of being conductor, switch hats!
Good reason to make up a "NewsCopter FIVE"- type craft, to report derailments.
