www.e-fliterc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=EFLH3000Been bored tonight, looking at what sorts of options I'd have for future helicopter flying needs, and I figured I'd ask here, has anyone flown this? From what I've been reading if I had the money I would be ordering this right now, the few reviews I've read so far have said that you essentially get the micro-coax stability with the ability of a FP in a package still capable of flying around a decent sized room for those of us without access to a gymnasium. The video I saw from E-Flite shows them flying it at a decent clip into a brick wall, picking it up off the sidewalk, and taking back off. What is everyone's opinions? oh, and also, the SR looks like a hell of a bird too. Seems to have the balance and stability, with the awesome ability to fly a helicopter upside down and spit in the face of Isaac Newton. The first time I realized that with enough room in the collective of a helicopter it could fly upside down without falling out of the sky like an injured duck I wished I had the time, money, and skill to learn to fly one. Now there's an electric ready to fly 3D capable helicopter for $200... amazing

I went and checked one of these out at a hobbytown and the guy even let me fly it. I didn't end up purchasing one because I want to get a Spektrum dx5e tx and they didn't have the tx only in stock. I also want to give my neighborhood hobby shop my business if I can. Anyhow they are as fun as they look. I just did some easy hovers but the clerk had it booking around the shop. I also like that the MSR comes with a 4 battery charger instead of a single. I may have one of these tomorrow!

I have one, it's fun to fly, takes a beating and keeps flying. It can be real quick and modded to fly outside if you want. It is a 4 channel so if your flying 3 ch it will have a bit of a learning curve.I think it is worth the money and will bind to any spektrum radio.

I ended up finding a great deal on a mcx tandem rescue. $80 brand new in the box. The guy also had a Syma S022, Syma S006G and an ESKY Big Lama. Said he flew gas copters and had been given these as gifts but had no time for them. The Tandem is a lot of fun to fly and I still plan to get an mSR when I have the dough for a decent controller.

Great deal on the mCX! I'd love to have one of the tandem's that'd be a great machine to use as "candy" to lure more people into this little addiction I've got...
