s107g vs helizone firebird

I see from KB site that he thinks syma s022 and then s107's are the best copters.
I like the look of the black and also blue firebird and at 1 point read that their quality was better.What are the opinions and experience of the 3ch forum on these 2 birds.

I Just received my Firebird about a week ago and it is awesome it flies perfect and is very easy to control and durable (I have rammed the ceiling a few times) but it is also the only 3 ch. I own as of now but I plan to purchase a S107 soon to compare.

I'm used to flying "real" rc fixed wing, but gave up on cost grounds a couple of years ago. The flying bug never went away, so when I was given an S107 as a gift I thought "pah, its a toy!. But now, I can honestly say that despite my first reservations when I initially saw it (I didn't want "toys" at my age), I was extremely impressed with how it flew straight out the box. I went out and got another S107 (and have just repaired (new tailboom) another for someone else), so they can't be that bad!

Sorry I can't pass verdict on the Firebird (yet!), but so far as 107s go you just can't go wrong, stable, easy to fly, robust and above all fun!

I've also ordered a s022 - from the reviews and videos I've seen, I won't be disappointed with it seems!

I also have the s107-G with some mods to it. Carben fiber main frame, 3mm tailboom and much more. See the post under talk about modification and click on weight reductions. Let me know what you think. I have extra parts if someone can help me with reimbursement cost. Thanks and -S-
