Well Lerninmore my experience made xheli seem very shady. Impossible to reach via phone or email. An item listed as in stock on one site but out of stock on another. When it became obvious that my package had not been given to UPS I found the rcdiscuss forum and got the runaround from Eric. Eric should not be doing customer service. Even if he is merely incompetent, he gives the appearance of being a liar. I got my money back, I'm happy but I will likely not do business with xheli ever again.

I've been IN companies where the shelves were getting bare... Boss was boinking "Mary-lou at the desk", spending hidden $$ on her like crazy, NOT placing orders for re-stocking.
THEN, he got vendors to give him product "up-front"...sold same, spent the money. Vendors went NUTS. He got a LOAN, and gave each one $1000. But they could only have it, if he could have another half-shipment. Most of the idiots went for it, surprisingly. So he got a few more orders filled, and that was the end of "stock". First, the higher cost to stock items, then the lower ones went away... But he kept taking orders...
At least you cannot place an order for something market "Out of Stock" at XHeli, and on that small point, I will concede some respect.

it makes me really ill, to know that xheli also deletes the threads that make them look bad. my thread got deleted. i archived it first, however.
the thread at rcgroups was a little nauseating too, with folks that have yet to have an issue espousing the virtues of purchasing from xheli.
what really got me enraged was reading all the bbb reports and otherwise on xheli, and they all featured the same bs i had to deal with.
all it takes is once. get shafted, deal with eric, and see if you'll be back.
until then, enjoy your low priced helis, if they are in stock.

Good call!
RCG exists to advertise and sell RC, and it is right in bed with Xheli, and wears the stigma associated, I think.
It is quite similar to those FAKE magazines that turn out to be nothing but paid blurbs about a product group. Nothing can be objective, as it all has bias.
I think my 4,000 posts were a problem there- only moderators had this many, and people base some credibility on post count.
So when I said Syma S006G was a turkey, they stopped selling COLD. I think they only want credibility to be in their own hands there.
I've effectively left the message I'm GONE, at the very least, my information spigot's been shut off, no more hires pics.
I do not sell anything you'd ever come HERE to see info about. Ebay marketers were stealing my work instead of taking their own pictures, hence the copyrights.

It appears that Xheli ads have stopped running on RCG. Check it out, verify?
EDIT: hey, they got them back up!
Been in that one..."Susan, Call Shotgun News and see if we can run a "new" ad, since they've canceled our current one"....ROFL.

i posted a heads up type of post on rcdiscuss, telling folks that this was not a true representation of the customer service presented on this board.
someone named 'mgc' argued with me and stated i should have not 'run my mouth' because in my thread i was 'offered return shipping by xheli'. i found this quite hilarious and let him know that i had archived the thread, if he would care to peruse and state where this supposedly happened.
by the time i got back the next morning my account was wiped without a trace. quite interesting, yesno?
this 'mgc' dude is found in other threads, where he seems like an xheli cust serv enforcer of sorts, calling this one dude who received empty boxes a 'liar' and name-dropped occam's razor while revealing his superfluous deduction.
what a strange, strange place rcdiscuss is.

That coaxial forum only exists to harvest noobs.
What gets me is the mean attitude of so many there. If I was as mean, I'd say stuff like: "Barak1001" is a whiny hick, botching his biz right and left by acting like a Prime Richard.
"Balr14" exists to belittle. But I'm not, so I'll refrain from such.
I have some answers. I never have the last answer, and with that I'm fine. The three above made that place unbearable with their enormous, over-sensitive toes.
I got spammed with violations, most on very old posts, and every one where I was offering HELP to the members. So I'm banned until the 30th. I've no further desire to be associated with that dysfunctional place.
FUNNY is that my site traffic is six times higher since they banned me.

Meanwhile, back on topic: Xheli's ads are only running part-time on RCG, and Helipal's have wholly replaced theirs on my site.
I think they will be rolling under the waves soon. They have the same selection as a beginner shop now, not enough to sustain them, in my opinion.
It is only a matter of time before they are reported to the SEC for advertising so many things they cannot deliver on a regular basis.
It is hard NOT to see their listings as fraud- you end up there after finding links, ads, and web search results saying they have so many models.
It is CLEAR they keep stuff like the orange chopper pic'd above, just to get that browser group. That heli was given to Xheli as a sample, and they listed the ONE, sold it, and left the listing up, apparently not intending (they told an inquiry they did not know when they would have more, and also told the customer they only had ONE, that they had gotten as a sample*, to sell) to ever get more. It's now there to make you think that they COULD get it.
They just want the traffic the new model will bring!
All of this, IMHO.
*Samples are always FREE. I know this, I get them all the time!

i'll have to check out this helipal place. i wouldn't mind a sample of that orange copter up top there either.
the 4ch rcgestapo chased out a lot of useful site traffic with their snarkiness.
oddly enough there is not nearly as much animosity in the standard micro rtf forum, where i spend a lot of my time, waxing poetic about epp foam rtf planes and such. also, that xlcrlee guy is a fountain of information, only he tends to use 1000 words whereas ole bookay uses pictures as well to illustrate points.
the coax forum is still a mess there.

Oh I nearly forgot to mention that I did get my refund from XHeli last week. Ed I too am awaiting for a refund. Got an email informing me that they were going to process a refund, and that it would take 1-10 business days for it to be credited to my account. Hoping it happens. Ed www.rcdiscuss.com/index.php/topic,32416.0.html Here's my recent experience with "Eric". They emailed me saying they would refund my money but I am seriously considering calling my bank today to make sure it happens.

I'd say that was a good sign of coming death- they NEVER give $$$ back, historically. They must KNOW they won't EVER have a "good one" to send you, huh?

That is hilarious...most of the page, that is...I really gotta thank them for the comedic value. It says out of stock Sixty-seven times on a page with about 200 items listed.
This is better shootin' than they usually do.
Oh, I just noticed, MANY items are repeated.
Now, watch as a post on THIS forum, gets me re-banned from another one. Beat that!

If they were a brick and mortar store people would stop showing up to look at the empty shelves. Driving them further out of business.
