Grapevine says they have no Syma S107's to sell, the week before Christmas...we're done.
My money is on their site going parked before Christmas Morning, to shirk a BUNCH of "overhead".
IMHO, of course!

Thunder Tiger, Dynam, Art-Tech. Hardly names that light up the Forums.
With few exceptions, all of the high-dollar inventory is gone.

www.rcdiscuss.com/index.php/topic,32416.0.html Here's my recent experience with "Eric". They emailed me saying they would refund my money but I am seriously considering calling my bank today to make sure it happens.

Bait and switch: "In retail sales, a bait-and-switch is a form of fraud in which the party putting forth the fraud lures in customers by advertising a product or service at a low price or with many features, then reveals to potential customers that the advertised good is not available at the original price or the list of assumed features is different. The use of this term has extended to similar situations outside of the marketing sense." IMHO There is something wrong when "the biggest helicopter retailer" has only no-rep toys and a FEW other models in stock.

man, slim. you just got a little taste of eric, but it still leaves a horrible taste in the mouth just to read your experience.
i do find it hilarious they have nothing in stock. i got two 6010s from them in the process of all the dealings, and a tx that does not transmit. can't find a source of a replacement tx currently, and didn't wanna drop $40 today on another 6010 just for the tx.

Well they did refund my money. The credit showed up on my account today. I have had worse experiences with on line retailers but not in a while. Eric is the dictionary definition of deliberately obtuse.

I too am awaiting for a refund. Got an email informing me that they were going to process a refund, and that it would take 1-10 business days for it to be credited to my account. Hoping it happens. They seem to suddenly be willing to do a lot of refunds, folks. Historically, they would refuse, period. Another reason to believe they will soon call it quits.
They just CAN'T be getting diddly for orders right now, which would make refunding* anything a bit hard to do under any other circumstances. But, if they are "cleaning house" in preparation, it makes sense.
*It costs a minimum of $25 to reverse a transaction at Paypal, for instance.

Doesn't look good for them, If you pull up 3 channel w/ gyro there a total of 71 heli's displayed with a grand total of 6 in stock. Not very good stats if you ask me.

And some of those are duplicates: S032.
Nothing but the turkey-copters we refused to purchase this year.
It's kinda sad to think they'd be losing it at the peak of 3-channel popularity. They treated those customers like toy-purchasers. Meanwhile, the people they'd LIKE to be selling $$$ copters to, saw this happening, and ALSO saw 3-channel become...
Reliable FUN.
Meanwhile, I cannot find another copter seller with more than THREE models of this type out of stock.

This is from Nitrojohn over on that other forum It is not true, we are not going out of business just because a few of our items are O.S. We have actually received tons of items back in recently. It will be updated back into our system shortly. Without even giving notice to anyone our warehouse is working their butts off as we speak getting all of the orders out. Rain or Shine they are still doing what they do best, as well as working over time for all of our customers. Not just the warehouse team but also our CS reps. Well myself, and the rest of the Xheli team would like to sincerely apologize to all of you who thought we were going out of business. It's the holidays we honestly do get a bunch of orders thank god. So our inventory will be as dramatic as a roller coaster we hope you all understand that. But to all of you who continue to support us we sincerely appreciate all of your support. We will not let you down! - John and the rest of us at www.xHeli.comand they are now showing the red and yellow 107 in stock, so that makes 8 out of 71 in stock for shipping and as kill points out some are duplicates

"It is not true, we are not going out of business just because a few of our items are O.S."
Is how I read this.
"We are going out of business, because we consider the bulk of our customers to be uninformed ass-hats."
