(reply to question on which Fry's in Houston I went to) The one on 59S just outside beltway 8. Stopped by Pappa's BBQ for beef ribs right after, helped to take the bad taste out of my mouth from that Fry's!. I'll be here until Sunday and will try to hit the Fry's on 45 near the airport tomorrow. Today I flew the S107 I had sent to my father-in-law in Livingston as a Xmas gift. He used to fly real choppers (Sikorshy VH-3) in the coast guard and said the little Syma was one of the best presents he ever received

Yeah the one on 59 isn't that great, the one on 45N was the first one we had here and is much bigger and usually has a better selection. I haven't been to the one on 45S down by clear lake. I pass by the one on 59 going to/from work (live in the sugarland area) so I know not to look for gems there now. If you are in town long enough try Micro Center over in the Galleria area, they have the Falcon-x for 19.99, uh-oh just checked their web site and they are out , anyway enjoy our warm weather while you are here!

thanks - stopped in the one on 45 yesterday. Only a few models, none really interesting, but at least they looked to be factory fresh ones! Did snag some small LEDs for the Wessex and a set of ~110mm blades to try out. I was north of the city killing some time when my GPS found Mike's Hobby store near Porter. Cool place: paved racetrack, big field for larger models, and decent selection of Blade/Force parts. Only 3ch was a 6020 lookalike for $49 :/ I was almost sucked in to buying a Revell Proto 4-ch on the closeout table for $47, but our suitcases are already overflowing with BBW ribs and boudin! cheers - looking forward to going home today to get our dog and relax, just wish it wasn't 40 degrees colder in Milwaukee though

The show goes on. Have you been screwed by an online copter seller? Anybody? When this thread was started, this particular company had years worth of bad press online, people hated them. What's the story today?
