The tail motor on my Falcon X quit after a 15 foot freefall last night, any ideas on trouble shooting or replacing it?

Ahhhhh thanks chriss, I guess I will take it apart and check it out. So there are wires at the motor and at the pcb? There is a hobby shop close by that sells this same model, I wonder if they might have some parts? I was in there the other day after becoming addicted to helis, of course after spending too much money with the mall guy.

There's wires that go from the pcb to the motor, you need to de-solder them from the pcb before you can remove the tail motor. My problem requires replacement of the entire pcb which means a lot more soldering to swap all the connections over, so I'm not bothering because I"m not very good at fine soldering...
Good luck to ya!

I wonder if kilbucket has an autopsy of a 6020 since this is the same heli I think, I just reviewed his S107 autopsy

Of course, this is a great little helicopter which is better than another heli. I must say that this heli is constant flight on the air. Overall this heli is a lot of fun I would recomend it to anyone.
