I got more of these 3-chies than any other living (non-copter-marketing) person, and have had most apart. What's your copter's problem? Wanna see a STAGGERING list of personal projects? cdn.attracta.com/sitemap/162464.htmlQuestions?

I got a new model coming, that was in the past, a real DogCopter. I'll post pics of it here, as it SHOULD be the most recent design out of China, and have features to expect in other models*.
*I hope.

KB.I posted about this on another forum but I thought it might do better here. My copter started having problems with trim adjusting. If the trim adjusting setting is at the middle position. The copter spins fast left.So I make the correction, which is about halfway full right. The copter will hover ok until I add throttle and then will spin fast right and hold altitude.Make the necessary corrections and It spins the opposite again. It will spin real fast both ways but needs to have the trim at least halfway right to get any right influence and correct the left spin. I can see nothing on the shafts, hair, fuzz or whatever. Both props turn easy with no binding. From day one the bottom prop stops quickly, maybe a turn or two at shutdown. The top prop will spin many times at shutdown.Again it has shutdown like this from day one. When first flown it flew flawless with just a slight trim adjustment. Could it be the trim control is trash?Or does it sound like I am missing something?

Maybe a few drops of silicone oil in the shafting might help. This sounds like drag in the bearings to me.

It is normal to have to adjust trim setting 2-3 times per 3 minute flight. as the parts warm, the friction in the parts changes, so you have to adjust. It's why there's an adjustment knob, instead of it being auto-corrected.

No kidding!!Seriously.I never use to do more than a slight adjustment.Even the flight before this problem started it worked great. Now you can't adjust it to fly neutral at at full throttle. It goes real fast spinning left with full right trim. KB .What does it take to get the bottom rotor off?Is it a press fit?

I have looked at all the pages.I just didn't know if it was a press fit.I used what I felt was a lot of force to try and get it off.Guess I need to give it another try.I don't want to break my copter trying to fix it. Thanks.

It's going back. Now it needs the trim set full left and that won't straighten it out at full throttle. Two junk S107's so far. If the wife didn't over pay so much for it,I would just have kept the first one for parts and bought a second one elsewhere. But since she paid to much and a "no-refund policy". I gotta keep taking them back till I get one that last passed the first dozen flights. They are way to much fun when they work right.

Ha! We could be talking about 1975 Volkswagens!
Once it works right...don't even LOOK at it.
